At Hartley Salt Trading FZE, we believe that good health starts with informed choices—and that begins in the classroom. The School Salt Campaign is our initiative to promote nutritional awareness and ensure access to quality iodized salt for school-aged children across the regions we serve.

Our Mission

To support healthier futures by integrating iodized salt into school feeding programs, while educating communities about the vital role of iodine in child development.

Where We Work

This campaign is active in partnership with schools and local distributors in:

• Liberia
• Rwanda
• Kenya
• Sultanate of Oman
• United Arab Emirates

What We Provide

• Premium iodized salt in school-friendly packaging (Our Campaign does not provide HIMALAYAN SALT – But only white Iodized [Iodated] Salt)
• Educational materials on iodine deficiency and nutrition
• Logistical support for bulk delivery to institutions
• Community engagement through local events and awareness drives

Why It Matters

Iodine deficiency is a leading cause of preventable mental impairment in children. By ensuring consistent access to iodized salt, we help schools combat hidden hunger and support cognitive development.
